Day 1: ARRIVING IN HANOI – HA LONG (-/-/D)
Arriving in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, guided tour and transfer to Ha Long Bay. Individual program. Dinner in the restaurant. Night in Ha Long.
Day 2: HA LONG – HANOI (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. A short trip to Ha Long Bay, a four-hour cruise around the world heritage – 3000 islands emerging from the sea forming an extraordinary sea scenery. Time to explore sea caves and fishing communities. Lunch – fresh seafood on board. Return to Hanoi. Dinner in the restaurant. Night in Hanoi. Evening: traditional performance of the water puppet theatre.
Day 3: HANOI – HUE (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. Individual program until transfer to Hue. Lunch in the restaurant in Hue. Visit of the Emperor’s City: Citadel, Dong Ba Market. Dinner in the restaurant. Night in Hue.
Day 4: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion cruise by a dragon boat to Thien Mu pagoda. Journey by car and a tour of the King Tu Duc’s Mausoleum. Transfer to Da Nang. Da Nang sightseeing, transfer to Hoi An with a stop at Lang Co Village for a seafood lunch and a visit of fishing village near the sand dunes. The journey continues through Hai Van ridge with a beautiful sea-view panorama. Journey to Hoi An and a tour of the ancient city by walk. Dinner in the restaurant. Night in Hoi An.
Day 5: HOI AN – DA NANG – SAIGON TOUR (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit of the Cham Museum, transfer to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to the hotel. Individual program until lunch in the restaurant. Afternoon tour and sightseeing in the city: Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office, former Presidential Palace, and finally visit Ben Thanh Market, Chinatown and Thien Hau Temple. Dinner in the restaurant. Night in HCMC.
Day 6: HCMC – MYTHO – HCMC (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. A bus trip to My Tho – the central city of Tien Giang province, the most beautiful area of the Mekong River delta. Cruise on the Tien river. Visit of Thoi Son, Phoenix Islands, tropical fruit gardens. You will also enjoy local folk songs. Return to the ship. Lunch in the Trung Luong Restaurant serving Vietnamese specialties like “Tai Tuong” – fried fish, spring rolls, sea crayfish and crabs. Visit of Vinh Trang Pagoda. Return to HCMC. Dinner. Night in HCMC.
Day 7: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNELS – SAIGON DEPARTURE (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Cu Chi. Visit of the Cu Chi tunnels: 200 km long tunnels (preserved about 120 km) dug by partisans during the war with America. Return to HCMC for lunch. Transfer to the airport.
